Old Fashioned Collard Greens

My husband, Greg fancies himself as a collard greens connoisseur, and he claims these are the best he’s had.  They aren’t tricky to make, and have very few ingredients, they just take a little time and care.  I make these several times a year, but always on New Year’s Day. They’re great with barbecue, or over rice, and definitely with cornbread to soak up the spicy broth.
