Fennel Gratin

I have always loved fennel, and even if you think you don’t love fennel due to the slightly licorice-like flavor, you should make this.  My husband who has always claimed to dislike fennel was convinced otherwise with this recipe.  This dish is fragrant and gorgeous next to a roast chicken or grilled meat.
