I’ve been making this recipe since college (many moons ago). I worked in a coffee house, and would go in to open it at 5:30 in the morning. Most mornings we would bake these, and they would make the early wake-up worthwhile. I love these with tea, on a brunch buffet, or to give as gifts to neighbors and friends. Eat them warm and you’ll know why I’ve been making them for 25 years.
